I’m throwing another appetizer at your this week! I had a girl’s night the other night and wanted to take a little something. I had some baguette that I needed to use up, so it was a perfect opportunity to make crostini. My sister gave me the idea awhile back to make fig & goat cheese crostini and it was delicious! I also had Nutella and strawberries on hand, so I went for a little variety.
These are so easy to make and they are so pretty to look at! Cut thin slices of baguette and place on cookie sheet. Drizzle with a little olive oil and salt and pepper (I only used olive oil and sea salt for the chocolate ones).
Place under the broiler for a few minutes, or until the bread is browned and crispy. Once your crostini is out of the oven, you can start to assemble. I used goat cheese with honey and fig spread for half of them and Nutella and strawberries for the other half.
Because the bread only goes in the oven for a few minutes, these come together fast. The possibilities are endless when it comes to what you can add on top of crostini!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
