End Table Makeover

I found a large, chunky, pine end table at Goodwill awhile back.  I bought it not knowing what I would do with it, but it was in great shape for $12.  I have since painted and stained it and it now resides in the vendor booth.  It fits perfectly and it provides great storage and a great pop of color!

Here is a before shot.

I gave it a light sanding, painted 2 coats of turquiose, sanded and distressed the edges.

I then applied a coat of dark walnut stain over the top to age it a bit. I sealed it and added a a more vintage looking knob.

What once was an ugly and dated end table, is now fun and bright and interesting!

  2. What a smashing pop of blue :) The dark stain really gives the table definition.

    1. This table and paint are long gone! Sorry! Not sure why I didn't source the name of the paint originally, it might have been a "mistint" I picked up on clearance. Sorry I'm not more help!
