Peach Crisp

We have locally grown peaches flooding our grocery stores.  I decided to make a crisp.  I used the same recipe I use to make apple crisp (one of our favorite desserts), just substituted the peaches.

Peach Crisp
6 cups peaches (peeled and pared)
1 cup white sugar
1 Tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Mix the above ingredients together and spread in a greased 9 x 12 pan.

Topping:
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup melted margarine

Mix ingredients and spread on top of peach mixture.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Tastes best right out of the oven with cinnamon or vanilla bean ice cream!
