Blue/Grey Paint Color

I've gotten a wild hair and want to paint my kitchen.  That means I am on the hunt for a perfect blue/grey.  It can't be too blue or too icy or too dark.  I'm in the mood to brighten up the space with a crisp, clean, refreshing blue/grey.  I am turning to blogland for help-please comment if you know of the perfect shade!

  1. Sounds crazy, but we painted Vivian's nursery in a blue/grey called Stormy Cove. Since we didn't know the gender we thought this would work with either a boy or girl. I love it! We had it mixed at Sherwin-Williams, but I think we got the actual color from Lowe's. I'll send you a pic of the nursery to see what you think. Good luck!

  2. Find the perfect color at the scrapbook store, then have sherwin williams custom mix the color.

  3. We used Silver Sage from Restoration Hardware for my son's nursery. You could have it matched anywhere. It's a fabulous color - not too blue, not too gray... we get lots of compliments!

  5. Erin-thanks for the tip on the Quiet Moments. I think that is going to by my winner. Everything else looked too bright and too blue. Quiet moments is soft, and clean, and crisp!
